Chocolate cake

Chocolate Cake:

  • Flour 225g
  • Sugar 225g
  • Butter 225g
  • Eggs 4
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder 2 tea spoon
  • Baking sod 1 pinch
  • Cocoa powder 2 table spoon
Chocolate Icing:
  • Butter 100g
  • Icing sugar 225g
  • Milk  2 table spoon
  • Cocoa powder 2 table spoon
  • Vanilla essence 1 tea spoon
  • Coffee essence 1 tea essence
  • Beat butter and sugar finely.
  • Add egg one by one and beat until the sugar melt thoroughly.
  • Meanwhile, stiff flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda times.
  • Add the flour mixture with batter and mix well.
  • Add milk and mix well.
  • Add vanilla essence and coffee essence. 
  • Mix well with a wooden spoon.
  • Beat the mixture again.
  • Pour into the tray.
  • Bake at 180 degree C for 25 minutes.
  • stick a toothpick into the center of the cake, if there is wet batter still on the toothpick, it needs more time in the oven. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.
  • After cake cools down, mix all the ingredients of chocolate icing and apply over the cake.
  • If you wish, you may decorate the cake with nuts or fruits.
